I would just like to say that if you have not read Dr. King’s letter offered in the Journal’s January 17 meditation, it is a must read! (I just re-read it.) I learned a great deal, by the way Dr. King laid out the steps of a nonviolent campaign: 1) Collection of the facts to determine whether injustices are alive 2) Negotiation 3) Self-purification 4) Direct action.
This weekend I reflected on the very small way I look to change the world by transforming from within. Yet, Dr. King looked to change the world by taking action in such a big, bold, and courageous way. His dreams were big, his vision magnificent. He studied and had a brilliant, well thought out process for channeling frustrated energy into positive creative change. His fiery passion catapulted the world irreversibly forward towards freedoms destiny. His Love had no room for fear.
