Journal of Sacred Work

Caregivers have superpowers! Radical Loving Care illuminates the divine truth that caregiving is not just a job. It is Sacred Work.

About

Life lake reflection - copyright erie chapman 2014

The rock wall climbs from the lake. Or is it the lake that climbs the wall?

Stage left a fallen tree parallels plunging green. Both shoot angles across the lake's skin.

Stage right another tree defies stone by penetrating it. Follow the tree down to his reflection & find his defiance repeated.

The eye immediately seeks the dividing line between solid earth & watery reflection. Both are real. Their parallel truths reflect Beauty. Female water energy rounds off the penetration of male-rock strength.

Each holds its elegance. Joined, they create a transcendent integrity.

   Love is always a circle.

Reflections speak to those tuned to the sacred. Listen lovingly instead of randomly & hear life's music.

Whatever you express as a caregiver returns to you in a circle.

Love brings joy because the beloved reflects Beauty back to your heart.

A clip from one of my films (click on link below) reflects a world in a cascade of hair.

Erie, your photo offers so much intrigue. The tree limb creates a staircase of stepping stones as a means of connection. The stone wall in layers upon layers hints to the ages that life has been evolving full circle; season upon season, night into day, day into starlit nights. Thank you for the gift of today’s reflection as well as the Beauty to be discovered in cascading hair…

Erie; On one of my home visits I met a patient who was dejected in his spirit as he had one health issue on top of another. Together with him and his wife we read the Bible Romans Chapter 8. His spirit was lifted up after we prayed together and he accepted the Lord. Before I left he told me that he sensed the peace in me when I entered his house and I was happy that he in turn received that peace and joy. “Love brings joy because the beloved reflects Beauty back to your heart”. Thank you Erie for bringing up the subject and illustration on “Reflection”.
