Journal of Sacred Work

Caregivers have superpowers! Radical Loving Care illuminates the divine truth that caregiving is not just a job. It is Sacred Work.

About

Vermont Twilight Oct 2018

Twilight is an enchanting space of neither day or night but an in between space of light and darkness. She offers us an invitation to pause as sun disappears behind the curvature of mountain's strength. Especially lovely, is how light mingles with night,  shifts and flows,  softening into her quiet and accepting way.

Do not try to save
the whole world
or do anything grandiose.
Instead, create
a clearing
in the dense forest
of your life

I so need to create space in my life. How about you? Where do you find the solace to rest in Love?

SO grateful you are back to the Journal after your well deserved two-week hiatus. Once again, you have brought us rich gifts. Your delicate watercolor brought me peace the moment I saw it. The poetry of your prose brought even more: images of twilight, the mixing of dark & light and, most of all, “the love that makes life meaningful.”
Tara Brach is always helpful. The greatest help comes today from you, Liz. We missed you and your return reassures us that you are lead by love, infused with it & able to spread it to all who draw near enough to you to experience it. Thank you for being a caregiver online as well as in person.

Try to find that place in nature in which to center yourself. Then you discover that the world will make a little more sense to you.
I love that forest painting Liz.
