About

Just For A Moment

Dear Love.

Please help me to rest.

I place my list of things to do in your hands.
Just for one moment. I let it go.

I place my thoughts about how things
should be different in your hands,
Just for a moment, I let them go.

I place my thoughts about how someone else
should be different in your hands.
Just for a moment, I let go.

I place my thoughts about about how I should be
different in your hands.
Just for a moment, I let them go.

Right now, just for a moment,
I allow things to be as they are,
I allow someone else to be as they are,
I allow myself to be as I am,
And so I rest.

~Amen

Thank you ever so much Liz. The gentle rhythmic flow of the prayer drew me into quietness and surrender. In these days when, as a global community, we are in solidarity with one another prayer unites us on a deeper level. May Love’s healing rays overshadow us one and all.

Hello Maureen and thank you for your ever present presence and blessings that you bestow upon us.
A primary purpose of this Journal is to offer a place of renewal for caregivers. I personally found these words helpful at this time when it was shared with me and I wanted to pass this along to others.
Yes, we truly are a global community and may we recognize one another with the eyes of the heart, with the eyes of a new awareness in every person we encounter.

What a gorgeous offering – picture, poem/blessing all from you. The coda is especially moving:
I allow someone else to be as they are,
I allow myself to be as I am,
    And so I rest.
    Thanks so very much, Liz.
