  • Hope is the child of Love. If President-elect Obama can awaken in all of us a deeper sense of Love, then his leadership will favorably affect caregiving coast-to-coast. If Americans harbor hatred and anger toward Mr. Obama, than he cannot help them. Hatred is the one force that blocks Love.

  • The goal of loving leadership is to create an environment where both tradition and change can flourish simultaneously.

  • The resolution to “Live Love, not fear” is a complete and pervasive lifestyle that requires moment by moment presence.

  • For adults, Love is the only pathway to miracles. Caregivers can ring their patients and co-workers with Love’s energy so that they feel, at least for a time, as happy and protected as a little four-year-old in a makeshift fort in the middle of his grandparents living room.

  • The great Mozart understood that “Love, love, love is the soul of genius.” That is a secret each person may discover. Meanwhile, charities are vulnerable to destruction by leaders who treat their mission of Love as a meaningless slogan.

  • So long as genuine Love is present, none of the concerns about her appearance are valid. Meanwhile, the forces of power, control, and narrow thinking will continue to block Love’s light from shining into most of Americas hospitals and charities.

  • Caregiving will take on added meeting as the new year arrives.
