How would you describe the balance of Love and fear in your life? For example, how much of your life is governed by fear and worry as opposed to Love and serenity?
Conscious awareness of questions like these has helped me to reduce the level of fear in my own life. In any given day I found myself fearing or dreading everything from a visit to the dentist to a public speaking engagement to worries about the safety of my grandchildren. As I became aware of these fears, I began to let them go trusting, instead, to Love.
It's not easy, of course. Fear often sneaks back into my life in spite of these efforts. But, I am less likely to let it dominate any given hour than I was in the past.
