love of our lost ones pours through and shines down upon us to let us

What a stunningly beautiful proverb. It does my heart good to read this and to gaze into this starry image, especially today, on my brother John’s birthday. I decided to take the day off from work to honor his memory. I feel a need to be reflective and to avoid a whirlwind day. I hope to make this a day of self-care and healing. I gratefully receive this gift and I extend Love to all of you.

There is healing in the stars. When I gaze into the night sky, the chaos and the sometimes dull routine of my life falls away for an instant and I am peaceful. Maybe I recognize a long lost friend looking back at me, or maybe I simply see myself.

    I am
    the center
    I am
    the point
    from which each direction goes
    I am
    the seed
    from which time grows
    and flows around me
In days that are without number
    a thousand suns surround me
    And I am the sun
    burning in the center
    I am
    my rays go out
    and penetrate the night
    I am
    a million jewels blazing
    in my solar sight
    I am
    the past and future joined
    set in eternal flight
    I am
    the morning and the evening
    In my eternal light
    I am
    And yet in me
    the silent mystery
    “I am not”
    forever burns
    and I bow down
    a silent witness
    to what in me
    forever learns
    forever burns
    forever turns
