    It has been a busy and sometimes uncertain time for me lately. I haven’t spent the time in meditation or poetry as I should and have felt empty and low at times. I offer this gift of Hafiz for others who may be in a similar place.
    My Brilliant Image
    One day the sun admitted,
    I am just a shadow.
    I wish I could show you
    The Infinite Incandescence
    That has cast my brilliant image!
    I wish I could show you,
    When you are lonely or in darkness,
    The Astonishing Light
    Of your own Being!”
