I picked up David Whyte's Consolations (2015) & randomly opened to this chapter, "Hiding":
Chip, cocooning is what I call it when my muse needs some time off to refresh itself! I go walking and do some quiet meditation in an easy chair with beautifully soothing classical music to whisk my “creative dust” away.
Dwell on the fact of your having given so many of us spiritual sustenance with your Journal for many years, a testament to your committed ministry of sacred caring for others. Hey, it’s time to care for yourself, Cousin! Bless this time of quietude and may the flowing thoughts come rapidly back to you.

Thank you so much, Terry. You are certainly right regarding the need for all of us to engage self care and, if we have been a bit “noisy” as I have often been, time for some quietude.
