A stone thrown into a pond will ripple for quite awhile and improve the water’s appearance and perhaps its overall condition!

Have you ever considered that one simple act of caring by you, could improve the health of someone you would like to give care to? I tend to care for many persons by acts of kindness and remembrance that come easily for me; but if this is harder for you to do take heart and realize that your solitary small act of caring could lift the spirits of the person cared for beyond your belief!

When I suffered an episode of depression at age 73, my Episcopal priest Warren Hicks visited me twice in the hospital and then, again at my home in Worcester MA. His demonstrated caring for me helped me realize I was not alone in my illness but could expect caring far beyond my humble expectations, and I began believing that I would indeed recover and that many persons beyond my family would be part of my overall healing process!

 

Always remember that more persons care about your welfare than you could imagine; then, when someone you know has a rough patch, reach out and show you care!
